Barbara's Pot Roast

Aunt Barbara's Pot Roast

Ingredients
5
lb chuck pot roast
1
large white onion
accent
water
Directions
1.
The night before place roast in 9x13 baking pan and cover it with a lot of Accent all around
2.
Slice a whole white onion and place it on top of roast
3.
Fill the pan with 2 cups water and cover it with foil and refrigerate it over night
4.
Set oven temperature at 350 degrees
5.
Place pan in hot oven and cook uncovered for at least 3 or 31/2 hours until meat is totally dark roasted and shredding
6.
Check for liquid once in awhile, if drying add some boiling water to the pan.
