Home Made Red Pepper Hummous

This is good with whatever you want to dip in it. Slice a pitta into strips, drizzle with oil and bake for 10 mins (gas mark 4) for a really tasty and unusual dipper!

Ingredients

chickpeas, drained
1/2
garlic clove, crushed
1/2
tbsp p tahini
juice of 1/2 lemon

tbsps olive oil

tbsps water
1/4
red pepper, finely chopped
1
selection of things to dip
Directions
1.
Mash the chickpeas with a masher.
2.
Mix in the tahini, garlic, lemon and red pepper.
3.
Mix in the water and oil to form a smooth paste.
4.
Dish up in a serving bowl with a selection of things to dip and enjoy!
