Whole Wheat Strawberry Scones

Ingredients

cups whole wheat flour
1
cup dices strawberry
1
stick cool cubes butter
1
egg

tbsp sugar
1
cup heavy cream
2
tsp baking powder
1/2
tsp baking soda
Directions
1.
Preheat oven at 375

Add Flour ,baking powder & soda,3 tb sugar. mix well adding butter to the mixture, may be lumpy and take a bit to mix. Add strawberries.

whisk cream with the egg until blended,add 1 ts vanilla extract. Starting with 1/4 c of the cream stir in gently until completely combined and dough holds together. Batter should be thick and slightly tacky. If the texture is crumble add more cream.
4.
flour a flat surface, make into a ball and try to shape it to a square should be 1/2 inch thick cut into square place on a cookie sheet and bake for about 25 min. until top is golden brown.
5.
Let cool add confectionery sugar. SERVE
