Grandma's Simple Cake

Universal cake recipe from my Grandma, can be used with pretty much any kind of fruit that's in season.

Ingredients

gr butter, unsalted
100
gr sugar
250
gr plain flour
2
tsp baking soda
3
eggs
6
tbsp milk
500
gr apricots or apples or cherries or other fruit
Directions
1.
Sift flour, mix with baking soda.
2.
Whisk butter. Add sugar, mix until well combined.
3.
Add eggs one by one to the butter-sugar-mix, mix well.
4.
Add flour-mix. After the flour is incorporated, add the milk spoon by spoon.
5.
Line bottom of a springform pan with baking paper, grease the sides. Pour the dough in.
6.
Wash the apricots, halve them, remove stones. Put the apricots on top of the dough, skin-side facing down.
7.
Pre-heat oven to 175° Celsius. Bake cake for about 45-50 minutes.
