Grandma Block's Pepper Nuts

Grandma Block's- Grandma Ruthie always made these. Cooking temp and time were left out of her recipes so you will have to find what works best for you.

Ingredients
1 1/2
cups Sugar
1
cup Sorghum
1
cup White Syrup
1
cup Lard
1/2
tsp Clover
2
tsp Ginger
3
eggs
1/2
tsp Salt
8
cups Flour
2
tsp Soda
Directions
1.
Melt sugar, sorghum,white syrup and lard all together but do not boil.
2.
Then add when cooled clover,ginger and eggs.
3.
Then add soda to a little sour milk and mix all together while adding flour.
4.
Once everything is mixed let sit for 1-2 days before baking.
5.
Once ready to bake roll in to tiny balls and bake
