Olive Garden's Chicken Carbonara

Ingredients

large chicken breast

cup olive oil

cup hot water
1/2
tbsp italian seasoning
1/2
tbsp minced garlic

stick butter
1/2
tsp minced garlic

slices bacon -- crumbled

tbsp flour
1/2
cup parmesan cheese
2
cups heavy milk
1
cup milk
1/4
tsp pepper
1/4
tsp salt
1
lb linguini
3/2
tbsp parmesan cheese
1
(,5 cup) shredded mozzarella
1
tsp minced garlic
1
tbsp fresh chopped parsley
Directions
1.
whisk ingredients 2-5 together and place in bag with chicken
2.
refrigerate chicken for at least 30 minutes
3.
cook the pasta while making the sauce
4.
make the sauce (steps 5-9)

melt stick of butter in large saucepan over medium heat
6.
add garlic and bacon bits
7.
saute for 5 minutes stirring frequently
8.
add the flour, parmesan cheese, heavy cream, milk, pepper, and salt. Whisk together.

bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and bring to a simmer. Stir occassionally

in a large bowl cobine the parmesan, mozzarella, garlic, and parsley. Set aside.
11.
In a large skillet cook the chicken until done. Cut into pieces.
12.
Add the cut chicken into the sauce mixture and let simmer for about 3 minutes
13.
place pasta in large serving bowl and pour the sauce over the pasta
14.
add in the parmesan, mozzarella, garlic, and parsley mixture, and mix together
