Beef Brisket

This recipe takes 2 days, so you will have to plan ahead of time although the cook time and prep time are very minimal.

Serves 6people
lb of beef brisket roast 1 – 24 oz can of tomato sauce
tbsp of diced garlic (from jar) 1/2 tsp pepper
large onion, sliced
Slice onion up. Put layer ½ of the sliced onions on the bottom of the baking dish with some of the tomato sauce. Put garlic and pepper on the brisket roast and put in the dish. Top with the rest of the onions and sauce. Bake at 325 degrees for two and half hours. Take out of oven and cool. Slice the brisket and refrigerate overnight. Take out of frig and add 1 cup of water to sauce. Spoon sauce over meat and then bake for two more hours at 325 degrees. Serve with rice and veggies.
