Sam's Chicken Noodle Soup

Took me years, but finally perfected my favorite soup!

Ingredients
1
lb of chicken breast, boneless or bone in
1
large carton of swanson chicken broth
1
carton salted chicken stock
3
cups water
1
cup yellow onion, sliced or diced
3
whole carrots, peeled
4
celery stalks, sliced
1/4
cumin
dash of salt & pepper
1/4
thyme
dash of seasoned salt
1/4
onion salt
1/4
garlic powder
1/8
cayenne pepper
1
bouillon cube
olive oil
1
packet swanson concentrated broth
1/2
box farfelle noodles, or if you prefer egg noodles
2
bay leaves
1
2 drops tabasco sauce
1
2 drops lemon juice
parsley, garnish
Directions
1.
Heat oil in a large pot. Saute onions, celery, and carrots for 2-3 minutes. Add spices and mix together, coating vegetables.

Mix in the broth concentrate.
3.
Add broth, stock, bay leaves and bouillon cube and bring to a boil.
4.
Add raw chicken and put down to medium. Simmer covered for 1 hour.
5.
Pull chicken apart into chunks in the soup. Add in the Tabasco and lemon juice. Let simmer for 1 more hour covered.
6.
In a separate medium pot, boil salted water. Add in farfelle noodles and keep on a rapid boil until noodles are al dente.
7.
Add the noodles to the soup pot and simmer for about 10 minutes, allowing the noodles to soak in the chicken flavor.
8.
Garnish with parsley.
