Breakfast Cookies

This one is from my highschool cooking class.

Ingredients
1/2
cup craisins/ chocolate chips
1/2
cup wheat flakes
1/2
cup quick oats
1
cup all purpose flour
1/4
tsp baking powder
1/4
tsp baking soda
1/4
tsp salt
1/4
cup & 2 T shortening
1/2
cup & 2 T packed brown sugar
1/4
cup & 2 T granulated sugar
1
egg
1/2
tsp vanilla
Directions
1.
Preheat oven to 375F.
2.
In bowl combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Then add rest of dry ingredients.
3.
In separate bowl, cream shortening and both sugars until smooth. And egg and vanilla to mixture. Then add dry ingredients.
4.
Drop cookies onto baking sheet. Flatten into circles.
5.
Bake 8-10 minutes.
