Hummingbird Traditional Brownies

My lovely friend Suze introduced me to this recipe and the famous Hummingbird Bakery in London. My sweet tooth will forever be grateful!

Ingredients

dark chocolate, roughly chopped

unsalted butter (1 C)

caster sugar (1.5 C)

plain flour (1 C)

eggs
icing sugar to decorate
Directions
1.
Preheat oven to 170 degrees C (325 F). Put the chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water and leave until melted smooth.

Remove from heat. Add sugar and stir until well incorporated. Add the flour and and stir well. Finally stir in the eggs and mix until thick and smooth.
3.
Spoon the mix into a prepared baking tray and bake in oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until flaky on top but still soft in the centre. Be careful not to overcook. Leave to cool completely before dusting with icing sugar to decorate.
