Beef And Broccoli

Just your basic, simple asian recipe. Good for a quick weeknight meal.

Ingredients
500
beef fillet, sliced length-wise
1
head of broccoli, chopped into florets
1
red onion, sliced
2
tbsp cornstarch
2
tbsp water
1/2
tsp garlic powder
1/3
cup soy sauce
2
tbsp brown sugar
1
tsp powdered ginger
1
tbsp cornstarch
Directions
1.
Combine cornstarch and water and garlic powder. Add sliced beef and toss to coat.
2.
Heat oil in skillet and add beef, stir frying until done. Remove from pan and keep warm.
3.
Add onion and broccoli and stir fry until tender. Return beef to pan.
4.
Combine soy, brown sugar, ginger and cornstarch. Add to pan and heat through.
5.
Serve with hot rice.
