soft Margarine

Self Raising Flour

tsp Baking Powder

gs flavouring (your choice)

Cherries, sultanas, chocolate chips

gs fresh fruit e.g. diced apple

tsp cocoa powder
1/2
tsp spices e.g. cinnamon
1
zest 1 x lemon/orange
Directions
1.
Pre-heat oven gas mark 5/ 190oC

Prepare self. Prepare work area.
3.
Collect equipment
4.
Place margarine, sugar, flour, baking powder and egg in the mixing bowl (if using cocoa powder – remove 2 tsp flour and replace with 2tsp cocoa powder)
5.
Mix ingredients together. Beat until smooth and creamy.
6.
Stir in additional ingredients gently.
7.
Spoon mixture evenly between the 7 paper cases.
8.
No licking fingers!!!
9.
Bake for 12-15 minutes. Test: finger ‘spring-back’
10.
Remove from oven. Cool on cooling rack. Store in an airtight container/ or freeze
11.
ready to eat
