Fresh Strawberry Pie

This is often requested all through the year. It is best with fresh Wisconsin or Minnesota strawberries in June!

Ingredients

cup sugar

tbsp corn starch

cups water

(3 oz) package of strawberry gelatin
4
cups fresh strawberries
1
baked 9-inch pie shell
Whipped Cream
Directions
1.
Mix the sugar and cornstarch together; blend in the water. Cook until boiling, stirring constantly; reduce heat. Cook until thick and clear, stirring occasionally. Add the gelatin, stirring to dissolve. Place the strawberries in the pie shell; pour the gelatin mixture over them. Chill until firm. Top with whipped cream.
