Mushrooms Baked In Cream

Ingredients
1
lb fresh cap mushrooms
1/4
cup butter
1
tbsp minced onion
3
slices bacon
1/3
cup bread crumbs
1/2
tsp salt
1/4
tsp paprika
1/8
tsp pepper
1/3
cup parmesan cheese
1
cup whipping cream (1 small carton)
1/2
tsp Worcestershire sauce
Directions
1.
Lightly grease a shallow baking dish.
2.
Clean, but do not slice mushrooms. Remove stems from caps and set caps aside.
3.
Chop stems finely.
4.
Heat butter in skillet with onion. Cook slowly (5 min.) turning often.
5.
Add the mushroom tops gently and mixture of breadcrumbs, salt, paprika, and pepper.
6.
Place mixture lightly into mushroom caps in a baking dish.
7.
Sprinkle 1/4 t grated parmesan cheese over each filled cap.
8.
Top each cap with mall pieces bacon.
9.
Add Worcestershire sauce to carton of cream. Shake and pour around caps.
10.
Bake at 400 for 15 to 20 minutes or until bacon is crisp.
