Rae's Georgia Pecan Crunch Cookies

I used to make these when I was younger with my grandmother

Ingredients
1
cup of softened butter
1
cup sugar
1
cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1
egg, beaten
1
tsp vanilla
3 1/2
cups all-purpose flour
1
tsp baking soda
1
tsp salt
1
cup vegetable oil
1
cup oatmeal
1
cup crushed corn flakes
1/2
cup chopped pecans
Directions
1.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Beat butter and sugars together until creamy
3.
Beat in eggs and vanilla
4.
Combine flour, baking soda, and salt
5.
Add flour mixture to the butter mixture alternately with oil
6.
Stir in oats, corn flakes, and pecans
7.
Drop by teaspoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet
8.
Dip fork in water and press into cookie
9.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown

Let cool in the pan for 1 minute
11.
Transfer to a wire rack to cool
12.
Serve and enjoy

Store in an airtight container
