Ingredients
Cake:

cups flour

cups sugar

cup shortening
1
stick butter
1
cup water
4
tbsp cocoa
1/2
cup buttermilk
2
eggs
1
tsp baking soda
1
tsp vanilla
1
tsp cinnamon
Icing:
1/2
stick oleo
2
tbsp cocoa
3
tbsp milk
1/2
box powdered sugar
1/2
tsp vanilla
1
cup coconut
1
cup chopped nuts
Directions
1.
Sift flour and sugar in bowl.

In heavy saucepan bring to boil butter, water, cocoa, and shortening. Pour over flour and sugar mixture while hot.
3.
Add buttermilk, beaten eggs, baking soda, vanilla, and cinnamon.
4.
Bake in buttered jelly roll pan for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

Icing:

Bring to boil oreo, cocoa, and milk.
7.
Add sugar and vanilla; stir until smooth.
8.
Add nuts and coconut.
9.
Spread on cake while both icing and cake are still hot.
