Mix cereal, crackers, potato sticks or pretzels, nuts, and dried fruits together in a large bowl.

In microwave-safe bowl, combine corn syrup and butter. Microwave on medium (50% power) for 30-45 seconds or until butter is about half melted. Stir in chips and let stand until soft enough to stir smooth.

Microwave on medium (50% power) for 15-20 seconds or until very warm. Pour over snack mixture while tossing and stirring to distribute. Spread on baking sheet or two.

Bake in 350 degree oven for 5 minutes.

Return mixture to bowl; toss with cake decors and spread out in bowl.

Cool, stirring occasionally, breaking up any large clusters. Store in airtight container. Will keep at room temperature for 3 days.
