Fennel Frond Pesto

This recipe is a great way to not waste all the fronds on the fennel. It can be used in any recipe where pesto is called for.

Ingredients

cup pecans, toasted
3
cup fennel fronds (About 2 Fennel)
1
lemon, juiced
1
clove garlic
1
tsp sea salt
1/2-3/4
cups olive oil
1/2
cup grated Parmesan Cheese
Directions
1.
Toast the pecans over medium heat for 3-5 minutes and then allow to cool.
2.
Add all ingredients to a food processor and add olive in slowly until desired consistency is reached.
3.
Store in the fridge or freezer.
