Steph's Famous Tangy Chicken

Steph's Tangy Chicken was an immediate hit! It's tangy and unique flavor has made it one of her most signature dishes! She passed it along to me and it has became another family favorite!

Ingredients
5
8 Thin chicken breasts
Lemons or lemon juice
Cooking sherry
10
Green onions
Flour
Salt
Pepper
Garlic salt
Olive oil
Butter
Directions
1.
Cut your green onions into small pieces and saute in butter and garlic salt till they are soft.
2.
Set aside.
3.
Coat your chicken with flour/salt/pepper.
4.
Warm a frying pan with olive oil.
5.
Fry the chicken breast until they are slightly golden brown.
6.
Add the cooking sherry until it is covering the chicken on the sides and let simmer.
7.
The flour from the chicken will thicken and the sherry will create the consistency of a Marsala sauce.
8.
Add the lemon juice and top with the green sauted onions. Simmer a few more minutes.
9.
Serve on a platter and pour the remaining sauce over the chicken.
10.
** I have no exact measurements. Onions are to your liking as well as the lemon juice and sherry. I like my chicken to be pretty tart
11.
Tip: Add lemon pepper seasoning to flour mixture or directly on the chicken breast before frying.
