Microwave margarine in 2-quart glass bowl 1 minute 35 seconds on HIGH. Stir in sugar, corn syrup, and sweetened condensed milk.

Microwave 15 minutes on HIGH, or to 240 degrees on candy thermometer, till forms soft ball in cold water test. Mixture should be stirred periodically during cooking period.

Stir in nuts and vanilla then pour into greased 9 x 9 x 2" pan. Cool until firm. Cut into small squares.
