Apple Crumb Pudding

Ingredients
6-8
medium sized cooking apples
1/2
cup butter or margarine
1
cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2
cup flour
OPTIONAL: cream for topping
Directions
1.
Wash, pare and slice apples and place in greased shallow baking dish. Combine the butter or margarine, sugar and flour and mix with a pastry blender or two knives until it forms coarse crumbs.
2.
Sprinkle this mixture over the sliced apples and bake in a moderate oven, 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until done. Serve warm or cold with cream.
