Butterscotch Pecan Pie

Ingredients

(12 oz) package (2 cups) butterscotch morsels
1
cup dark corn syrup
4
eggs
1/2
tsp salt
1
cup pecan halves
1
9" pie shell, unbaked
Whipped cream (optional)
Pecan halves (optional)
Directions
1.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt over hot (not boiling) water, butterscotch morsels; remove from heat and set aside. In large bowl, combine corn syrup, eggs and salt; beat well. Gradually blend in melted butterscotch, beat until smooth. Stir in pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell.
2.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Cool. Garnish with dollops of whipped cream and pecan halves, if desired. Makes one 9" pie.
