Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo

This is a household favorite at our house!

Ingredients

oz cooked chicken

oz noodles

tbsp butter

small onion (chopped)

cups heavy whipping cream

tsp nutmeg
1/2
tsp salt
1/2
tsp pepper
4
tbsp grated parmesan cheese
12
oz frozen bag of peas & carrots (can use fresh)
12
oz frozen bag of broccoli (can use fresh)

qt water

tbsp salt
Directions
1.
Heat 2 tbsp of butter in a large deep skillet over medium-high. Sauté onion in butter. Stir in 4 cups heavy whipping cream; heat to boiling. Stir in 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese, 1 tsp nutmeg, 1/2 tsp salt,1/2 tsp pepper; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes, stirring frequently.

Cook noodles according to package.

While your sauce and noodles cook go ahead and steam the vegetables.

Drain noodles and mix sauce and noodles together along with the vegetables and chicken. Top with 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese. Serve with pepper.
