Quiche Lorraine

Ingredients

pie shell
6
pieces of bacon
1
onion- sliced
1/2
cup grated jarlsberg cheese
1/8
cup grated cheese
2
beaten eggs
1
cup milk or cream
dash of nutmeg
dash of pepper
Directions
1.
Fry Bacon and set aside, keep fat.
2.
Fry the onion in bacon fat.
3.
Crumble bacon and place on bottom of pie shell
4.
Add onion on top of bacon
5.
Add Cheeses on top of onion
6.
Mix milk and beaten eggs, add to pie.
7.
top with dash of nutmeg and pepper.
8.
Bake at 450 deg. for 15 min.
9.
Lower heat to 350 deg. and bake for an additional 35 minutes.
