Mommy's Zuppa Toscana Soup

Ingredients
This is going to be your base for most things you cook so get used to it!
(Base)
Olive oil - Enough to almost cover the bottom of the pot.

tbsp (Tbsp) minced garlic
4
mini-peppers
1/4
diced onion
Other Stuff:
4
pieces of bacon
1
lb of Italian sausage
4-5
potatoes
Kale
2
cartons of chicken broth
Heavy whipping cream
Shredded Cheese
Crushed red pepper
Black Pepper
Onion soup mix
Chicken bouillon
Italian seasoning
Directions

Saute in a soup pot:

A splash of Olive Oil, 2 tablespoons of diced garlic, 4 mini-peppers, 4 pieces of bacon, 1/4 of an onion diced

saute for about 5 mins then add your ground sausage. Cook until sausage is done.

Reduce fire to low and let simmer.

While this is simmering, peel and chop up 4-5 large potatoes then rinse them off.
6.
Add potatoes, half the bag of kale, a Tbsp of onion soup mix, 2 cartons of chicken broth, and 1 chicken bouillon cube.
7.
Cover pot and let simmer for about 30-45 mins or until potatoes are tender.
8.
Add about a cup of heavy whipping cream, and crushed red pepper, a sprinkling of black pepper, and Italian seasoning. TASTE YOUR SOUP!
9.
You can substitute cheese stuffed tortellini for the potatoes!**
10.
Add cheese until Cheese-US tells you to stop.
