Creamy Vegetable Soup

I just use bought chicken broth and sometimes I use tomato juice instead of tomatoes. We love this. It's not fattening, and it's good for lunch, a mid afternoon snack or whatever.

Ingredients

cups diced carrots
2
cups chopped onions
2
cups chopped celery
2
cups diced potatoes
2-3
cups tomatoes
1
clove garlic, minced
1/2
tsp sugar
5
cups chicken broth
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
1.
Cook all ingredients together until very tender. Cool slightly and then put in a blender until smooth. Store in a large container & heat as needed.
