Carmel Pecan Pie

Ingredients

package yellow cake mix
1/2
cup butter or margarine, melted
1
egg
1
cup chopped pecans
filling
2/3
cup reserved cake mix
1/2
cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 1/2
cups dark corn syrup
1
tsp vanilla
3
eggs
Directions
1.
Generously grease bottom and sides of 13x9 inch baking pan. Reserve 2/3 cup dry cake mix for filling.

In large mixing bowl, combine remaining dry cake mix butter and 1 egg, mix until crumbly.
3.
Press in prepared pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes until light golden brown.
4.
Meanwhile prepare filling. Pour filling over partially baked crust; sprinkle with pecans.
5.
Return to oven and back for 30 to 35 minutes until filling is set. Cool cut into bars.
6.
Filling: In Large mixer bowl combine all ingredients; beat at medium speed 1 to 2 minutes.
