Parmesan Puff Pastry

These are a light bread side. The only thing is they are best eaten fresh, just baked. Good news is they bake pretty quick.

Prep
Cook
Serves 1person
Ingredients
1
oz pack frozen puff pastry sheets, thawed
1
cup grated parmesan cheese
1
tsp dried oregano
1/4
tsp garlic powder
1/4
cup butter, melted
Directions
1.
) Preheat oven to 400 degrees
2.
) On lightly floured surface, unfold pastry. Cut each sheet into 13 strips, about 3/4 by 10 inches. To make this easier on you use a pizza cutter.
3.
) In a shallow dish combine cheese, oregano, and garlic. Rub dried oregano into hands first to make more fragrant. Paint melted butter on both sides of pastry, this is going to be messy. Pat both sides of pastry into mixture gently. Place on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Twist pastry to form a spiral.
4.
) Bake for about 12 minutes, watch them so they don't burn. Cooking times will vary on your oven. Carefully move to wire racks to slightly cool.
