Grandma's Christmas Cutout & Frosting

Ingredients
1 3/4
cups sugar
1
cup crisco
4
eggs beaten in one at a time
1/2
tsp salt
4
cup flour sifted with 4 heaping tsp. baking powder
1
large measuring cup heavy cream
Directions
1.
Beat sugar & crisco until creamy & fluffy.
2.
Alternate cream & flour. Beat well after each addition. (The more you beat eggs & shortening & sugar the better it is,)
3.
Refrigerate over night.

Roll, cut, and bake at 400 for ~5 minutes

Cool & Frost.
6.
Frosting: 2 c. confectioner sugar, 6 Tbsp. butter, 3-4 Tbsp. heavy cream, 1/8 tsp. vanilla, & 1/2 tsp. lemon juice. Mix until smooth and desired consistency, adjust with cream & sugar.
