Granola Bars

Healthy, natural granola bars that taste just like a cookie. Better than any store bought ones!

Ingredients

cup butter
3/4
cup sucanat (or organic sugar)

egg

tbsp ground flaxseed (optional)

tbsp honey
2
cups old-fashioned/rolled oats
1
cup white wheat flour
1
tsp ground cinnamon
1/2
tsp baking soda
1/2
cup raisins
Directions
1.
In a large bowl, beat butter and sucanat until crumbly (about 2 minutes).
2.
Add egg; beat well. Stir in flax and honey.
3.
In a small bowl, combine the oats, flour, cinnamon, and baking soda; stir into creamed mixture just until blended. Gently stir in raisins.
4.
Press into an 11 x 7 inch baking dish coated with cooking spray.
5.
Bake at 350 (F) for 14-18 minutes, or until edges are lightly browned.
6.
Cool on wire rack, cut into bars.
