Nutty Crisps

Biscotti...that's what these are.

Ingredients

cups all-purpose flour
1
tsp baking powder
1
cup chopped nuts (we usually use walnuts)
1/2
cup butter, softened
1/2
cup granulated sugar
1
tsp pure vanilla extract
2
eggs
Directions
1.
Preheat oven to 375F.
2.
Stir together flour, baking powder and nuts; set aside.
3.
In mixer with paddle attachment, cream butter, sugar, and vanilla until fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
4.
Stir in flour mixture.
5.
Spoon batter onto greased sheet pan in 3 strips about 1-1/4-inch wide and 15-inches long, leaving 1-1/2-inch space between strips.
6.
Bake 15 minutes, until brown. Cool 5 minutes on sheet. Cut into 1-inch diagonal slices.
7.
Separate slices slightly and return to turned-off oven for 15 minutes to dry.
