Southern Style Biscuits

Ingredients

cups self-rising flour
1
cup Crisco
1 1/2
cups buttermilk
Directions
1.
Using a pastry blender, cut in 1 c Crisco into the 2 c. self-rising flour till it looks crumbled. Then, stir in 1 ½ c. buttermilk.
2.
Once mixed, flip out onto floured surface. Using rolling pin roll to about ¾ inch thick. Cut out biscuits.
3.
Bake at 400 till tops are brown. About 15 minutes. Re-roll scraps and cut. Makes about 22 biscuits.
