Prepping You Food

Prepping is getting all of your ingredients chopped and seasoned, having the oven preheated, and making sure you have your pots, pans, and baking sheets ready to go. This will save you a lot of time.

-First you will want to preheat your oven to 425 degrees.
2.
-Then cover two baking sheets with tin foil and spray them with the nonstick cooking spray. Set these aside.
3.
-Now for the broccoli. Cut off the stem and throw it away. Then separate the stalks of broccoli into bite size pieces.
4.
-Toss these pieces into a large bowl. Coat the broccoli with the olive oil and parmesan cheese. Add in a couple pinches of salt and pepper along with a teaspoon of garlic.
5.
-Spread the broccoli on one of the baking sheets and set this to the side again.
6.
-Now you will want to place your chicken breasts in a large Ziploc bag. Sprinkle in the Italian seasoning, two pinches of salt and pepper, a teaspoon of garlic, and two pinches of parsley.
7.
-After all the seasonings are in the bag, pour in two tablespoons of olive oil.
8.
-Tightly close the Ziploc bag and shake until all of the ingredients evenly coat the chicken.
9.
-Place the chicken on the other baking sheet and set aside.
10.
-For the mushrooms you will want to cut them in half or into bite size pieces. Leave these on the cutting board for now.
