Grandma's Chicken Noodle Soup

This is the end all, be all, magical make-me-feel-better-now, famous chicken soup!

Serves 8people
Ingredients
use one whole chicken; or legs, wings and, thighs; or 6 chicken legs; or whatever leftover chicken you have
1
chopped onion
minced garlic
water
3
chicken bouillon cubes
fresh parsley
salt & pepper
frozen or fresh vegetables
optional: dash of tumeric for yellow color
optional: fresh parsley to garnish
Directions
1.
Saute the onion in garlic in a large pot.
2.
Add chicken to the pot and cover with water.
3.
Add the boullion cubes to the water with the parsley.
4.
Season to taste with salt, pepper, and seasoning salt.
5.
Bring to a low boil and allow for the chicken to cook.
6.
Once cooked, remove the chicken from the pot to cool.
7.
Add vegetables to the pot and check the seasonings.
8.
Shred or cut up the chicken and remove the skin and bones.
9.
Place chicken back into the pot.
10.
Add raw noodles and cook for several minutes until they are done.
11.
Optional: Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
