Cream Cheese Rugelach

Questionably related cousin Sophie's Recipe. Sophie was from the same town in Europe as Nana's grandparents.

Ingredients
dough
1/2
lb softened butter
1/2
lb cream cheese

tbsp sugar
1
tsp vanilla
2
cups flour
filling
4
tbsp melted butter
3/4
cup sugar
2
tbsp cinnamon
1/2
lb chopped walnuts
1/2
box of white raisins
Directions

Preparation:

Mix butter and cream cheese
3.
Add sugar, vanilla and flour
4.
Chill for 2 hours or overnight
5.
Combine sugar and cinnamon
6.
Cut dough into 2 pieces
7.
Roll each piece until 1/8 inch-thick rectangle
8.
Smear with melted butter, half cinnamon sugar mixture, half of nuts, and half of raisins
9.
Cut rectangle into rows with triangles (see image)
10.
Roll each triangle from the base to the point
11.
Place each roll on a baking sheet
12.
Bake at 350F in top 1/3 of oven for 20-22 min (or until golden brown)
