Sour Pickles

A simple recipe for delicious homemade pickles.

Ingredients
3/4
cup white cider vinegar
1/2
cup pickling salt or 1/2 cup you can use kosher salt, your choice
3-4
garlic cloves
2
sprigs fresh dill or 1 1/2 tablespoon dill seeds
5-6
pickling cucumbers
Directions
1.
Make sure you use a one gallon jar otherwise they might be to salty
2.
Place one garlic clove and a piece of dill in the bottom of a gallon jar
3.
Cut cucumbers into quarters into quarter and place 1/2 in jar, standing upright
4.
Put another garlic clove in top of pickles
5.
Add in one tablespoon of dill weed and or dill seed
6.
Add in 3/4 cup vinegar and 1/2 cup of the salt
7.
Fill with water to cover
8.
Keep refrigerated or 7-10 days, turning upside down everyday.
