Bran Muffins

A healthy delicious breakfast...(will also keep you regular ;) )

Ingredients
1
packet of bran cereal (kellogg)

cups of boiling water
1
cup butter
1 1/2
cups sugar (brown and white)
4
eggs
4
cups of butter milk
5
cups flour
5
tsp baking soda
1
tsp salt
optional - add raisins and nuts
Directions
1.
Let 2 cups of bran soap in boiling water.
2.
Cream together butter, sugar and eggs.
3.
Add buttermilk and soaked bran.
4.
Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt
5.
Add 4 cups of bran cereal.
6.
Mix everything together.
7.
Bake in muffin cups for 20-25 minutes at 200C.
