Salsa Chicken

Fresh, tangy, and delicious. This is a healthy way to make great tasting chicken that's good any time of the day.

Ingredients

boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1
can of diced tomatoes or 1 cut up fresh tomato
1
jar of salsa or home made salsa
1/2
bunch of fresh cilantro
2
limes
Directions
1.
wash, season, and brown the chicken. (suggested seasonings: garlic salt, onion powder, pepper).
2.
Add the diced tomatoes, and salsa.
3.
Cut up the limes and squeeze the lime juice into the crock pot.
4.
Cut the fresh cilantro into finely chopped pieces and put into the crock pot.
5.
Check frequently and stir. Cook approximately 4 hours depending on how much chicken you used.
6.
Things you can add to meal: tortilla chips, taco shells or tostadas, shredded cheddar cheese, lettuce, or anything you desire.
