Southern Monkey Bread

I love serving this to guests or just having it in the house! It's also great for a sweet breakfast that shakes up the routine a bit. The best of southern sweetness.

Ingredients

cup white sugar
2
tsp cinnamon
3
cans refrigerated biscuits
1/2
cup butter
1
cup brown sugar
honey or syrup for dipping
Directions
1.
Put white sugar and cinnamon in a pie plate, then mix together with fingers until blended.
2.
Place individual biscuits on a cutting board and cut into fourths.
3.
Shake each piece of biscuit in the cinnamon/sugar mixture until coated. This step may need to be repeated.
4.
Put the butter and brown sugar into a pot and heat on low until mixed stirring with wooden spoon.
5.
Turn off heat.
6.
Spray Bundt pan with cooking spray, then place biscuit pieces evenly into pan.
7.
Pour the brown sugar mixture over the biscuits.
8.
Bake at 325° for 35 minutes.
9.
Remove from oven and let cool on wire rack for 10 minutes.
10.
You may add your favorite chopped nuts for texture.
11.
To serve, flip pan upside down onto cake plate and let cool.
