Granola Oatmeal Crisp Cookies

This recipe came about because I was playing around in the kitchen trying recipes for a cooking contest. The Pillsbury bake off. My nephew Dallas loves these cookies

Ingredients

sticks butter - softened

cup sugar
1
cup firmly packed brown sugar

eggs
1
tsp vanilla

cups flour
1
tsp baking powder
1
tsp baking soda
1/2
tsp salt
1/2
tsp cinnamon
2
cups old fashioned oats
2
cups oatmeal crisp with almonds cereal
2
pouches of nature valley oats'n honey granola bars (4 bars) coarsely chopped
1/2
cup pecans
11.5
bag of semi sweet chocolate chunks
Directions
1.
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray cookie sheet with no stick spray. In 4 quart mixing bowl best butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well. In 2 quart bowl combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Add part of the flour mixture to the creamy mixture. Keep doing this until all incorporated together. The dough will be very thick. Stir in oats, cereal, granola bars, pecans and chocolate chunks. Using a medium cookie scoop or a heaping tablespoon. Drop 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes until lightly golden brown. Store tightly covered. Makes 48 cookies
