Serves 4people
Ingredients
1
lb chicken wings
1 1/3
cups flour
2
tbsp cayenne pepper
2
tbsp black pepper
1/3
cup chili powder
2 1/2
tsp onion powder
1 1/2
tsp salt
1/2
bottle franks hot sauce
1/2
stick of butter
Directions
1.
Combine dry ingredients: flour, cayenne, black pepper, chili powder, onion powder, and salt in a large ziploc baggie or large bowl
2.
Coat wings in dry mixture until completely covered
3.
Put the wings on a plate and refrigerate for 30 minutes
4.
After the 30 minutes, coat the wings, again, in the dry mix and then place on an oiled wired pan grate. Place the pan grate on top of an oven pan to catch oil and grease
5.
Lightly oil the top of the wings (either drizzle or brush), flip over, and oil the other side
6.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
7.
Cook wings for 60 minutes or until completely cooked and crispy
8.
Melt the stick of butter and combine with the Franks Hot Sauce and desired salt and pepper
9.
Toss the wings in the sauce and serve
