Best Twice Baked Potatoes

This recipe can be edited quite a bit if you'd like by adding green onions, bacon and different cheeses, but this is my absolute favorite!

Ingredients

baking potatoes
2
sheets of tin foil

tbs Butter, seperated
1
tbs Milk
1/2
cup Shredded Cheddar
1
tsp Garlic Powder
pinch of salt
pinch of parsley
Directions
1.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F

Cover the skins of each potato with 1 tablespoon of butter, wrap potatoes in foil, and poke 4 sets of holes on the top with a fork to let the steam escape. Place wrapped potatoes in preheated oven for 1h15min

Once potatoes are finished baking, unwrap and cut in half lengthwise. Be careful as they can be very hot! Gently scoop out the inside with a spoon into a medium bowl, leaving a small amount still attached to the skin.

Once finished, add the remaining butter, garlic powder, salt and parsley to the scooped out potato. Add a little milk - you can add more as you go. Mash and mix with fork till desired consistency.

Line potato skins with a thin layer of cheese. Top with mashed potato. Cover with remaining cheese, and return to oven for 15min.

Remove from pan, enjoy!
