Frulan Sauce

Thanks to Nana Favot, this is one of the best pasta sauces l have tasted, l had never tasted this recipe until l tried to make it for the first time, and from what l was told l hit it dead on!

Ingredients
1
pd stewing beef or sirlion cut into chunks
1
pkg of sausage cut into chunks
your choice to use both meats or just one

tbsp rosmary
4
clove

garlic cloves peeled and left whole

freshly ground nutmeg
1
can tomato juice
1/2
pd butter
1 1/2
cups olive oil
1
onion diced
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
1.
saute onion and meat until browned, add salt and pepper
2.
add garlic, clove, nutmeg, rosemary, and tomato juice bring to a boil
3.
add butter and olive oil and continue to boil until butter has melted
4.
simmer on med to low for 2-3 hrs
5.
this is a thin sauce so it will not thicken
6.
best served with gnocchi or rigatoni
