Honeycomb

Golden chunks of crunchy sweetness!

Ingredients
4
tbsp golden syrup
200
gr caster sugar
3
tsp bicarbonate of soda
1
tbsp water
Directions
1.
Heat golden syrup and caster sugar in a heavy-bottom pan.
2.
Bring to boil and simmer for 5-10 mins on low heat.
3.
Test the mix by dropping a little into cold water. If the caramel becomes hard and brittle, it's ready.
4.
Remove from heat and quickly stir in bicarbonate of soda, then pour onto a tray lined with greaseproof paper.
5.
Once hardened, break into pieces and store in a sealed container.
