Lara's Beef Stroganoff

My mother taught me this recipe. Comfort food at its best! You can substitute onion powder for chopped onion. Add all spices to taste, amounts are a guideline, your taste buds are the rule.

Ingredients

lb ground beef
1
medium onion chopped as fine as you prefer
3
tbs Worcestershire Sauce
1
tsp Salt
1
tsp Pepper
1
tbs garlic powder
1
can cream of mushroom soup
1
can of milk
1/2
- 1 cup sour cream
medium egg noodles for 4 (use your best judgement)
Directions
1.
In a 10 inch skillet or larger brown hamburger with chopped onion, salt, pepper, & garlic powder. Then drain.
2.
While meat is browning, have water heating to a boil before adding noodles.
3.
After the meat is drained, add the cream of mushroom soup, milk, and Worcestershire sauce, bring to boil over medium heat.
4.
Turn temperature to low and simmer for 15 minutes stirring occasionally.
5.
Drain noodles when they are cooked to preference.
6.
Before serving add the sour cream to gravy until combined.
7.
Serve over the noodles.
