Perfect Pecan Pie

Outstanding recipe that never fails! Grandma Brandenburger always begs to take a piece or two home with her after Thanksgiving, so I need to plan for extra pie each year!

Ingredients

cups pecans, coarsely chopped
3
large eggs
1
cup sugar
1
cup corn syrup
5
melted butter
1
tsp vanilla
1/2
tsp salt
Directions
1.
Heat oven to 375 degrees.
2.
Spread chopped nuts on baking sheet and toast in oven until golden brown. Stir once or twice.
3.
Whisk remaining ingredients in medium bowl and add toasted nuts.
4.
Warm the pie crust in the oven until hot to the touch.
5.
Pour pie filling into crust.
6.
Bake at 375 degrees for 35-45 minutes, or until center is set.
7.
Let cool, then serve and enjoy!
