Sarku Copy Cat

Copy cat recipe for Sarku restaurant in the mall

Ingredients
2 1/2
cups unsalted chicken stock
3/4
cup 2 Tablespoons Kikkoman Teriyaki Sauce
1/4
cup 2 Tablespoons Kikkoman soy sauce
1
clove garlic
1
thin sliced ginger root
3/4
cup 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
cornstarch
shredded cabbage
shredded carrots
sliced mushrooms
shrimp
rice
Directions
1.
Slice the garlic clove into 3-4 slices and add to the chicken stock and the ginger root in a large pot.
2.
Heat slowly stirring frequently on medium-low heat until warm
3.
Remove garlic and ginger root
4.
Add teriyaki sauce, brown sugar and soy sauce and bring to a light boil
5.
Prepare a cornstarch and water mixture to thicken sauce
6.
Stir sauce vigorously while adding cornstarch/water mixture
7.
In a separate pan saute/steam the mushrooms, carrots and cabbage with 1/2 cup of sauce, cooked rice and add shrimp last
8.
Add sriracha for heat if desired
