For cranberry ice cubes: place fresh cranberries, 1 cup of water and sugar in a sauce pan over low heat and bring to a boil. Let simmer for 10 minutes, until cranberries have burst and released juices and mixture has thickened. Place in fridge to cool. Then spoon 1/2 tsp of cranberry mixture into each cube of ice cube tray, cover with water and place in freezer to freeze.

For cocktail: combine gin and orange juice in a champagne flute or wine glass. Top with champagne and add one or two cranberry cube to complete your cocktail!
