Quiche

Wonderful breakfast, brunch, or even dinner food! Always a hit with the family and so many variations can be made! Add ham, bacon, chicken, olives, sundried tomatoes, etc!

Ingredients

eggs

cup half & half
3 1/2
cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 3/4
cups shredded Swiss cheese
1/4
medium onion, diced
1
crust for 9" pie
Salt & pepper or hot sauce
Directions
1.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2.
Prepare and roll pie crust. Arrange in a 9" pie pan.
3.
Mix cheeses together by tossing lightly. Add in onion and mix. (This is when you can add in any other ingredients you want for the quiche.)
4.
Place cheese mixture evenly into pie shell.
5.
Beat eggs and half and half. Add a little salt and pepper, if desired. Or even a couple dashes of hot sauce.
6.
Pour egg mixture over cheese mixture just until the cheese is covered. (Do not overfill or it will overflow when cooking.)
7.
Bake in 400 degree oven for one hour or until toothpick comes out dry. Cool for about 15 minutes before cutting and serving.
