Baked Pork Chops And Rice

We cook this meal at least every other week. Its one of Brad's favorites and super quick to prep.

Serves 4people
Ingredients
1
can cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2
cups cups water (or chicken broth)
1
cup long grain white or brown rice (uncooked)
1/4
white onion, chopped
1/4
tsp teaspoon pepper
3
bone-in pork chops (or 4-6 boneless)
salt and pepper (to taste)
Directions
1.
Spray casserole with non-stick spray. Whisk together soup, water, rice and 1/4 teaspoons pepper in a medium size bowl and spread into a 3 quart casserole.
2.
Sprinkle the onions over the rice.
3.
Salt and pepper both sides of the chops and place on top of rice.
4.
Cover and bake at 350 for 1 1/4 hours or until meat is done and liquid is absorbed.
5.
Remove from oven and let rest 5 minutes.
